Grab your bikes and join us for a ride through the streets of Saratoga! The 2nd annual West Valley College Tour de Saratoga | Race to Raise welcomes everyone for a joyful community ride. Celebrate your ride at our on-campus post-ride fun zone with vendors, music, food trucks, and more. Bring your family and friends to this new community tradition!
Course Information
10k, 20k, and 30k
Riders can register for one of three route lengths around the course loop. 20k participants will loop the course twice, 30k participants will loop the course three times. The route begins and ends on West College Circle on the West Valley College campus located at 14000 Fruitvale Avenue, Saratoga, CA 95070. A water and first aid station will be stationed along Cox Avenue.
No runners, walkers, or dogs or other animals are allowed on the course unless they are service animals.
Solo riders must be a minimum of age 10 to ride on the main course. Children 9 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian on the main course. Anyone participating on the course must be registered and have a signed rider waiver on file. The course will stop being controlled/monitored by 11:30 a.m.
Viking Kids Fun Ride
Kids ages 5 to 7 are welcome to participated in the Viking Kids Fun Ride prior to the start of the 10k, 20k, and 30k rides. The 0.75-mile course takes our youngest riders into the West Valley Campus and around the school track for a spirited start to the day!
All kids participating on the course must be registered and have a signed rider waiver on file. A parent or guardian must be with their participating child at all times.

Bikers must use the mapped street course, abide by traffic laws, and continue to the finish line. The finish line will be open until 11:30 a.m.

Youth 9 and under | $5
Ages 10-17 | $25 early bird | $35 starting June 20, 2025 | $45 on race day
Ages 18-61 | $35 early bird | $45 starting June 20, 2025 | $55 on race day
Ages 62+ | $30
Tandem Riders | $70 early bird | $90 starting June 20, 2025 | $110 on race day
Registration fees will be directed to the West Valley Mission Foundation.

- 8:00 a.m. | Viking Kids Fun Ride starts
- 8:30 a.m. | Ride warm-up and group stretch, ride line-up
- 8:45 a.m. | Welcome remarks from Jennifer Taylor-Mendoza, President of West Valley College
- 9:00 a.m. | Ride starts
- 9:30 a.m. | Post-ride fun zone and activities open
- 11:30 a.m. | Finish line closes, awards and recognition announcement
- 12:00 p.m. | Post-ride fun zone closes
Awards and Recognition
Awards will be given to each rider who places first in their award group. More information coming soon.
Each participant who completes the course will receive a finishers medal.

Check-in on ride day begins at 7:00 a.m. Your ride kit will include:
